Peruvian Scholar (Peru Single Origin)

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and so is a proper cup of Peruvian bean. Grown by the good folks at Cooperativa Agricola de Servicisios Norandino in clay mineral soil at an altitude that would make a mountain goat dizzy (1100-1700 meters, if you're countin'). With beans of Caturra, Bourpon, Catuai, Pache, & Catimor it surrenders tastes of salted caramel and silky citrus - flavors as bright and complex as a riverboat pilot's vocabulary. It's 'gully washed' and 'sun-dried', much like my own reputation, though significantly more refreshing.
